Liptrot’s Little Learners

I offer English lessons for children in person in Fontainebleau.

The lessons are in small groups (maximum 4 children) so that I can offer individual support and attention to each little learner. Each lesson builds on the vocabulary or skills learnt the previous week.

The ESL (English as a second language) lessons follow English language learning resources developed by Cambridge University Press & Assessment and the British Council. These lessons include songs, arts and crafts, cooking and forest activities.

From September 2025, there will be the following groups on Wednesdays:

  • 9.30 a.m. to 10.45 a.m. ESL for 7 to 10-year-olds (1 place left)

  • 11 a.m. to 12.15 p.m. for children in Grande Section who wish to apply to join the Anglophone Section in CP (1 place left)

  • 1.45 p.m. to 3 p.m. Anglo Aces: a new programme for children in CM1 and CM2 who wish to apply to join the Anglophone Section in 6eme

  • 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. ESL for 3 to 5-year-olds (1 place left)

Saturday mornings: There will be a lesson every fortnight from 11 a.m. to 12.15 p.m. for children in Moyenne Section and Grande Section who understand English but need to practise speaking.

I also organise English stages during the school holidays. Below are the dates for upcoming stages:

  • Anglo Aces Adventures: Tuesday 3rd March until Friday 6th March 2026 (from 9.30 a.m. to 12 p.m.). This stage is for children in CM1 and CM2 who have joined the Anglo Aces programme. It is also open to children who already have a good level of English and wish to improve their spoken English, as well as their reading and writing skills.
