BFI teacher training

Drawing on my experience of developing the Section Internationale at the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle de Londres, I offer training to teachers who teach History-Geography as part of the British option of the baccalauréat français international (BFI).

I am fascinated by different cultural and pedagogical approaches to teaching History. Using my experience of studying and teaching History in both England and France (in English and French), I am uniquely placed to help teachers newly discovering the BFI.

The online training sessions offer a valuable complement to the baseline training sessions organised by ASIBA. These sessions are in smaller groups and are tailored to meet the specific needs of H/G BFI teachers. They are designed to provide depth and answer queries that are raised after the ASIBA training sessions.

I also offer in-person training days. I work with teachers to develop sequences of lessons and individual lesson plans, which we immediately apply to the classroom. After pair teaching/observation, teachers will receive feedback to help them develop their future lessons and ensure the success of our students in the History-Geography BFI programme.

Please contact me to purchase a subscription, sign up for the training sessions or if you have any other training requests.
